Curriculum Head - Accounting and Financial Services
Permanent,
Full Time, 35 hours per week
Salary: 57,687 per annum
A vacancy has become available for a Curriculum Head within the Faculty of Education and Humanities. This Curriculum Head role will be to oversee our Accounting and Financial Services area within our Care, Finance and Fashion Retail Faculty area. As Curriculum Head you will be responsible for assisting the Associate Dean in the academic leadership and implementation of all aspects of provision within the Faculty, inspiring and delivering student centred results in line with the College's strategic ambitions and the Student Experience Strategy. The responsibility of the Curriculum Head is to support both staff and students and fulfil a teaching responsibility for academic subjects, at a variety of levels (SCQF L5 - SCQF L8), to a diverse range of students in the above area. As a professional member of the teaching staff of the College, you will be responsible for the preparation of lessons; the teaching of students and the marking and assessment of their work. You will also manage a team of lecturers and have the ability to motivate, develop and drive excellent performance.
To apply for this position you must have a relevant qualification at SCQF level 9 and recent and relevant vocational experience. The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills, good communication skills, and have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively. Applicants must hold a TQFE or equivalent (such as a PGDE). A management qualification would also be beneficial.
