Customer Account Manager

Job Description

As a Customer Account Manager, you will be the key point of contact for our customers, managing their requirements and expectations to support our company's expansion. You'll evaluate and quote on manufacturing complex components and assemblies, working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, onboarding, and communication. Your proactive approach will help us respond swiftly to customer inquiries, develop new sales opportunities, and support marketing initiatives, including events and exhibitions (some travel may be involved).

Key Responsibilities:



Respond promptly to customer inquiries within company targets Manage costing and quoting for new business opportunities Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless order processing Develop and maintain a pipeline of growth within existing accounts and new leads Support onboarding of new orders, including contract review and kick-off meetings Liaise with customers and internal teams to keep projects on track Gather and report customer feedback and KPIs to management Secure customer forecasts and integrate them into business planning

What We're Looking For:



Outgoing, confident communicator with a positive attitude Comfortable working in a competitive sales environment Quick learner with strong data and system understanding Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills IT literate, especially in Excel and Office applications Ability to understand engineering and manufacturing basics A team player with a flexible, eager-to-learn mindset

Desirable Skills & Experience:



Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing disciplines Experience in aerospace, automotive, defence, or motorsport industries Proven experience selling bespoke products to demanding industries like Aerospace and Automotive Budget management and estimating experience Understanding of composite and fabrication manufacturing techniques

Qualifications:



Degree in business or a related discipline, with some technical or engineering knowledge a plus Full UK driving license would be advantageous.
