Job Summary



As a

Customer Account Manager

with our shower panelling manufacturing team, you will be the key contact for trade and retail customers, ensuring exceptional service from order through to delivery. You'll manage customer accounts, build lasting relationships, and work closely with internal departments -- including production, logistics, and technical support -- to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities



Account Management:


Maintain strong relationships with existing customers -- including distributors, installers, builders' merchants, and retailers -- to ensure repeat business and long-term loyalty.

Customer Support:


Serve as the main point of contact for product queries, quotations, lead times, and order updates. Handle any issues promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.

Sales Growth:


Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within assigned accounts (e.g., new panel ranges, trims, adhesives, or accessories).

Order Coordination:


Work with internal teams to process orders accurately and ensure products are manufactured and delivered on schedule.

Market Insight:


Understand customer requirements, competitor activity, and market trends in bathroom and wall panelling sectors to inform sales strategy and product development.

Product Knowledge:


Maintain a detailed understanding of all product ranges, finishes, and installation requirements to advise customers effectively.

Reporting:


Track sales performance, account activity, and customer satisfaction levels, providing regular updates to the Sales Manager.

Qualifications



Education:


Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:


2-5 years in account management, sales, or customer service -- ideally within the

building products, interiors, or bathroom industry

.

Skills:

Strong communication and relationship-building skills Proactive problem-solving and attention to detail Good understanding of logistics, order processing, and stock management Proficient in CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, or similar) Ability to interpret technical product information and relay it clearly to customers
