Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately.
Process cash, credit, debit, and gift card transactions.
Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to store policies.
Maintain a clean and organised checkout area.
Assist customers with questions, locating products, and general inquiries.
Bag or package purchases with care.
Monitor inventory levels at the front end and restock small items as needed.
Follow loss-prevention procedures and maintain awareness of suspicious activity.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Uphold company policies, safety standards, and customer service expectations.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Basic math and accuracy in handling money.
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle a fast-paced environment.
Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus but not required.
Knowledge of social media marketing ideal.
