Location: Blackpool - Layton Depot, Plymouth Road, FY3 7HW

About the role



To provide marketing support to Enveco NW for all service areas which includes Domestic waste, Commercial waste, Household Waste Recycling Centre, Ground Maintenance and Parks department. We would like to raise the profile of the company through the development of marketing campaigns, website development and administration, social media promotion in all service areas, newsletters to staff and residents to promote ad Hoc and planned activities, sharing good news stories.

Key Duties / Responsibilities



To support the Communications and Marketing Officer with the new Simpler Recycling Government changes. Develop communication materials such as web content, leaflets, newsletters, press releases and reports. Be responsible for monitoring and updating of all social media platforms daily, working with officers to plan, create and schedule content. Work with managers to develop innovative campaigns and marketing material for their service area. To attend events on behalf of the service, engaging with members of the public to promote services. To maintain the website with changes to services. Co-ordinate the social media channels with regards to good news stories for the different service areas. Manage the website to ensure information is current and identify opportunities for improvement and development. Produce reports from the website to service managers providing data of demand for service.

About you



Considerable knowledge of website and social media content administration. Considerable knowledge of developing targeted marketing campaigns. Level 3 in marketing, communications or similar. Level 2 (GCSE Grade A-C) or equivalent qualification, including Functional Skills in English. Understanding the importance of how to market income-generating services. Excellent organisation skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Self-motivated with the ability to work under own initiative. The ability to write engaging content aimed at identified audiences. Excellent IT skills. Ability to work as part of a team to develop promotional ideas. Ability to work to deadlines. Considerable experience of developing marketing campaigns to promote services to targeted audiences. Considerable experience of writing public-facing information such as newsletters, website, and social media content. Considerable experience of website administration. Experience of producing eye-catching marketing such as leaflets, website content, banners, vehicle graphics and promotional material. Experience of administering and engaging with public via online and social media platforms.
