As part of Gallagher's Animal Management division, eShepherd is leading the charge in smart farming tech - redefining how livestock is managed.


eShepherd is our breakthrough virtual fencing solution that enables farmers to monitor, move, and manage cattle from anywhere. Using GPS-enabled, solar-powered neckbands, farmers can draw digital fence lines on their phone - transforming land use, reducing labour, and improving environmental and animal welfare outcomes.


This is innovation with real-world impact on productivity, profitability, and sustainability.


We need a Customer Engagement Representative who's ready to connect with farmers, champion this technology, and make it happen. Here's where you come in.

What You'll Tackle




This is a hands-on, customer-focused role driving the adoption of eShepherd across New South Wales. You'll be the bridge between innovation and the farmers who'll benefit most, converting qualified leads into loyal customers.


From leveraging warm leads and uncovering new opportunities to walking farmers through how virtual fencing can transform their operations, you'll be instrumental in growing our market presence.


Your days will be a blend of proactive outreach, meaningful conversations, and strategic follow-ups - ensuring every prospective customer understands and feels confident adopting our solution.

What You're Made Of

Here's what you bring to the herd:

A background in agriculture, agtech, marketing, or a related field Experience driving sales or customer engagement - bonus points if you've worked in start-up environments or with digital farming solutions A genuine understanding of farming practices and the ability to communicate clearly and credibly with Australian farmers Emotional intelligence, strong listening skills, and the knack for building trusted relationships A proactive mindset and results-driven approach - targets motivate you, not stress you Comfort working remotely and occasionally travelling to connect with customers face to face
