Customer Host (Front of House - Reception)


Location: Banbury (OX16 0AA) - Onsite
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9-5pm
Salary: 25,436

As our Customer Host, you'll be the welcoming face of Fedcap's Guildford office -- greeting customers, setting them up at our computer stations, and ensuring everything runs smoothly day to day. No two days will be the same: one moment you'll be helping someone register for a programme, the next you'll be supporting colleagues, organising meeting rooms, or keeping the coffee machine spotless!


You'll make sure every visitor feels seen, supported, and valued -- creating a friendly, professional environment where everyone can thrive.

What You'll Do


Welcome and sign in customers and visitors, offering a professional and friendly first impression.
Manage the reception area and respond to first-line enquiries, directing people to the right colleagues or activities.
Support with general office administration and manage room bookings.
Share information on local events and opportunities to help customers on their journey.
Build rapport and engage proactively with visitors to make sure they feel comfortable and supported.


About You


A natural people person -- confident, warm, and approachable.
Experience in customer service, ideally in a front-facing or busy environment.
Great communication and organisational skills with a calm, professional approach.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using IT systems.
Positive, adaptable, and motivated to make a real difference.
