Part Time ( 9 month Maternity cover - fixed term contract)

Company Overview:



Our family-run Department Store has been delivering the finest shopping experience since 1901. We are located in the heart of Windsor. We are currently seeking a Customer Operations Assistant to join our dynamic Marketing team to support and develop our website business and its operations. This role will play a vital part in supporting the store with responding and dealing with customer service enquiries and also providing regular support to the sales teams over lunches on the shop floor. There is also the potential for assisting with store wide campaigns and the organisation of in-store events.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Picking, packing and posting all website orders.

2. Responding to customer service e-mails and answering telephone calls, including handling customer feedback and complaints professionally.

3. Forwarding customer enquiries to the relevant departments and escalating where appropriate.

4. Adding products to the online store and maintaining up-to- date website content.

5. Writing and editing product descriptions to ensure consistency across the site.

6. Managing and maintaining online stock levels.

7. Supporting the Marketing team with store-wide campaigns, working alongside buyers, brands and suppliers.

8. Assisting with the organisation of in-store events such as the Late Night Shopping Event.

Skills and Requirements:



- Good knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Excellent communication and written skills.

- Strong attention to detail and a conscientious approach to work.

- Proactive-uses initiative to problem solve, and willing to learn new skills and software.

- Good team-player. Ability to work professionally and collaboratively within a small team.
