Job Description

We are TDS. We were established in 2003 to operate tenancy deposit schemes across the UK and to provide dispute resolution services in relation to tenancy deposits. We now operate tenancy deposit schemes in England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland from our head office in Hemel Hempstead and our other offices in Glasgow and Belfast. In 2022 we also launched the New Homes Ombudsman Service. We are collaborative and forward-thinking with our colleagues and customers at the heart of everything we do. With our proven success, it is necessary to expand our team to ensure the services we offer continue to make a difference.

We have a new opportunity within our Operations Team to join them as a

Team Trainer.



This is a permanent, full-time position that will be based in our TDS office in Glasgow and will follow our hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days in the office per week. However, they will be expected to have a greater office presence during staff onboarding. Occasional travel to the Hemel Hempstead office is expected for collaboration and training activities.

Some the key responsibilities include:



Deliver training through classroom sessions, e-learning, and "Grad Bay" programmes, ensuring colleagues are fully prepared to begin operational duties. Deliver engaging in-person and/or online refresher and upskilling sessions to reinforce learning among current team members. Design and produce high-quality written, online, and video training materials for both internal and customer use. Maintain accurate training and development records, providing reports and insights to management as required. Oversee the training and development of both new and existing colleagues. Develop expert knowledge of company systems and processes, staying informed about any changes in legislation or internal procedures.

To be considered for this opportunity you must:



Be educated to A-level standard (or equivalent). Demonstrate strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. Have strong IT skills, with experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and similar applications. Be able to coach others and provide constructive feedback. Be able to plan ahead effectively. Show strong diplomacy skills, essential for this role.
