Contact customers via phone or video to gather further details and verify pollution reports. Ensure all reports are actioned within agreed service-level timescales. Escalate or de-escalate incidents through thorough desktop-based risk assessments. Review previous pollution responses and Environmental Agency contacts to identify areas for improvement. Use multiple data sources and internal systems to make sound, evidence-based decisions.
