The Role
We are seeking a
Customer Sales Administrator
to support our planning and demand team to ensure excellent service delivery to our customers. In this
site-based role
, you will act as a key point of contact between the sales team, customers and other departments, helping to manage sales orders, process documentation and maintain strong client relationships.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:00) role reporting directly to the
Demand Manager
, in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where attention to detail and clear communication are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Process customer orders and queries accurately and in a timely manner
Handle customer inquiries via phone and email providing product and service information
Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., logistics, finance, planning) to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
Maintain and update customer records in the SAP system
Resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and billing efficiently and professionally
Maintain a high standard of customer service and communication
Identify opportunities to improve processes or enhance the customer experience
Arrange and coordinate domestic and international shipments with couriers
Prepare and manage export documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, customs declarations)
Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve transport issues as needed
Liaise with logistics providers to obtain freight quotes and manage transport costs
Maintain export records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
Identify opportunities to improve processes or enhance the customer experience
Skills & Attributes
Experience in a customer service, sales administration, or export/logistics role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbally.
Excellent organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Professional, courteous, and customer-focused approach
Proactive and self-motivated, with a problem-solving mindset
Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required
