Customer Service, Admin & Gift Assistant - Part-Time (Office-Based)


Immediate Start | 8am-4pm | 3-Month Probation | Likely to Become Permanent


We are looking for two people to fill this role to provide coverage throughout the week.

We're looking for two

Customer Service Assistants

to join our small, friendly team at

TreatBox

- a brand built around thoughtful gifting, beautiful packaging, and making someone's day a little brighter. This is a

customer-focused, office-based

role, and you'll be one of the key people ensuring our customers feel supported, valued, and heard.

You'll spend most of your time helping customers

via email (90%)

and occasionally

over the phone (10%)

- there's no face-to-face interaction, no retail counter work, and no social media DMs.

Please note: This is not a social media, sales, or core warehouse role - it's a dedicated online customer service position. However, during quieter customer service periods, you may be asked to assist the warehouse team with packing orders.



What the Role Involves



Responding to

customer emails

with care, accuracy, and empathy - this is the core of your role. Handling

complex issues

like delayed or missing parcels and upset customers calmly and professionally. Supporting customers

on the phone

when needed - always friendly, helpful, and solutions-focused. Editing orders, updating addresses, and managing order-related queries with attention to detail. Providing general admin support - printing orders, updating spreadsheets, and assisting with office tasks. Helping pack orders and in the warehouse during quieter customer service times. Writing gift messages -

Must have neat handwriting.

Being part of casual behind-the-scenes content (e.g. popping up in Instagram Stories - no content creation required).

What We're Looking For



Excellent written English

- essential for crafting thoughtful, professional responses.

Previous customer service experience

- especially dealing with issues via email and phone. A calm, confident telephone manner - especially when handling complaints. Someone who genuinely

cares about how TreatBox is perceived online

and wants our customers to feel delighted. A proactive, positive attitude and a willingness to get involved in what's happening across the business - from new product launches to busy gifting periods. Organised, reliable, and self-motivated - with high standards and great attention to detail. A real team player who enjoys supporting others and being part of a growing, creative brand.

Hours & Availability



Part-time roles: Two positions available to cover the working week


Working hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm (Monday - Friday) and 8:00am - 1:00pm (Saturday)


The schedule will be split between two part-time team members, final working days to be agreed based on availability and team coverage needs.

Flexibility required during

peak gifting periods

(e.g. Christmas, Valentine's Day, etc.) Office-based - please note the warehouse can be cold during winter months.
