An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Exeter Agency to join our thriving team.
About the Role
As a Customer Service Advisor within our team, you will play a key role in the success of an expanding local business, ensuring the office runs efficiently and our customers are always satisfied. You will handle policy amendments, sales, and claims, building long-lasting relationships with our clients. Above all, you will relish the challenge of being part of a truly client-focused, ambitious team.
You'll also have plenty of opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills to ensure you sell professionally and compliantly. Always delivering a consistently excellent experience to customers, you'll meet the requirements and standards of NFU Mutual, the T&C scheme, and our regulators. This role falls under the Insurance Distribution Directive, requiring Continuous Professional Development in role and ongoing screening checks once in post.
About you
Patient and reassuring, you always go at the customer's pace, making them feel comfortable whether discussing a policy renewal, answering general queries, or exploring new insurance opportunities. Enthusiastic, willing to learn, and open to new ideas, you bring an approachable style to building relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
It is essential that you have the following:
Experience in customer service - flexible on industry, but great if you have a background in banking, financial services, or farming.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
A minimum of 5 GCSEs (9-5), or equivalent, including Maths and English.
