We are currently searching for a motivated, experienced and reliable Customer Service Adviser to join our small friendly team in Littleborough.
The ideal candidate will be capable of prioritising workload and working under pressure, and will be capable of using his or her own initiative to solve problem situations. The successful candidate will also have previous experience in both customer service and retail banking plus enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Milecross Financial have a relationship with Yorkshire Building Society (YBS) providing face to face service in multiple locations.
What we are looking for
The main part of the role will be working within the YBS agency where you will be handling customer's money, dealing with queries, answering questions and opening accounts on behalf of the Yorkshire Building Society.
We are looking for someone with a strong customer focus, retail banking experience and enjoys a challenge. The ideal candidate will also be great with people and happy to work as part of a small team.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of YBS savings products and high-level awareness of client proposition
Deliver an exceptional customer experience and feel compelled to achieve fair and positive customer outcomes.
Contribute by creating ways to enhance the customer experience by challenging practices to simplify and improve the customer experience and improve standards
Create greater and positive brand awareness locally and potential business opportunities
Play an active role in the wider Milecross England team - share success and best practices
Identify and deliver fair outcomes for customers with potentially vulnerable circumstances
Maintain your competence under the Training and Competency framework
