Duties
Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Utilise transportation management to process orders, update records, and track shipments efficiently.
Coordinate with internal teams to manage shipping & receiving schedules, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of goods.
Maintain accurate data entry records related to customer orders, shipping details, and inventory updates.
Analyse production to identify potential issues or improvements in logistics processes.
Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (TPN) and other partners to optimise delivery routes and schedules.
Assist in analysing logistics data to support decision-making processes related to shipping and supply chain optimisation.
Provide clear communication regarding order status, delivery timelines, and any potential delays or issues.
Support the team with general administrative tasks & financial figures related to customer payments and outstanding balances.
Skills
Proficiency in transportation management systems.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics operations.
Experience working with TPN providers and managing shipping & receiving activities.
Excellent analysis skills to interpret data related to logistics performance.
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally via phone and written correspondence.
Proficient typing skills for efficient data entry and documentation tasks.
Organized approach with attention to detail in handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
