Customer Service Advisor (full Time)

Job Description

Principal Duties



Act as first point of contact for a range of customers

Respond effectively to a high volume of phone calls and emails

Resolve a wide range of customer queries and issues

Deliver a customer service experience that matches their needs

Ensure efficiency, productivity and personal performance targets are achieved in a timely manner

Promote all products & payment plans in line with company procedures

Liaise with other internal departments to resolve customer queries

Refer customers to approved third parties if required

Carry out other administrative duties as required meeting all non-phone work targets

Endeavour to retain customers by promoting the key features and benefits of the company

Escalating calls as appropriate for resolution

Essential Criteria



It is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate the following attributes:

Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English & Maths

Consumer focused with exceptional customer relations skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Impressive interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers

Good decision making and problem-solving skills

Conflict resolution skills including influencing and persuading

Readiness to work within and contribute to a team environment

Ability to work accurately to achieve set targets

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to prioritise workload

Demonstrates initiative and accountability

Strong IT skills (including a good knowledge of Microsoft Office) with an aptitude for learning new and evolving systems

Receptive and adaptable to change and embracing creative new ideas

Desirable Criteria



It is preferred, but not essential, that the successful candidate possesses the following

desirable

criteria:

A 3rd Level Qualification (or equivalent)

Proven customer support or administration experience

Previous experience in the Northern Ireland Energy sector
