Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while efficiently managing the vehicle service process from booking to completion. This role requires prior experience in the automotive service industry and a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and service schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, bookings, and complaints professionally.
Provide customers with accurate estimates for services, repairs, and maintenance, explaining the work required clearly and transparently.
Liaise between the customer and the workshop to ensure effective communication regarding vehicle status and any additional work required.
Coordinate vehicle service schedules, ensuring timely and efficient completion of work.
Process and complete all relevant documentation, including invoices, service records, and warranties.
Monitor and follow up on customer satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of services, parts, and offers to provide customers with accurate advice.
Promote and upsell additional services, parts, and accessories when appropriate.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience:
Must have recent experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of vehicle servicing, repair processes, and automotive terminology.
Customer Focus:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
Organisation:
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, maintain accurate records, and ensure deadlines are met.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to assess issues, provide solutions, and maintain a calm demeanour under pressure.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency with service software and office programs.
Driving Licence:
Valid driver's licence.
