We're on the lookout for an experienced

Customer Service Advisor

a reliable, proactive team player, or as we like to say, "a safe pair of hands" to join our small but busy and friendly team in Basingstoke.

This is a key role in supporting the growth of our online business, so we're looking for someone who not only thrives in customer-facing work but also has solid IT experience, with in-house computer systems.

You'll be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they feel valued and supported, while helping to retain and grow their business through outstanding service.

We'll provide full training on our products, systems, and processes - what's important is that you come with the right attitude, customer focus, and tech-savvy mindset.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a hands-on, varied role. Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email Delivering high-quality, consistent customer service Managing a busy shared inbox and following up on queries promptly Supporting first-time customers to place orders with confidence Making occasional outbound calls to support customer needs Processing customer orders and completing related admin and fulfilment tasks Managing in-house systems for personalisation and product configuration Handling incoming stock, picking, packing, and dispatching orders Promoting relevant products and offers to customers

What We're Looking For

Minimum of 2 year's experience in a customer service role Strong IT literacy and confidence with in-house systems is essential Familiarity with stock or inventory control systems is highly desirable A positive, proactive approach to work Excellent communication, interpersonal, and phone skills A fast learner who's confident working independently Solid numeracy and literacy skills Great at multitasking and managing time effectively High attention to detail and the ability to see tasks through Strong team player with a flexible, "can do" attitude Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
