We're looking for a friendly and well-organised
Administrator (Customer Service & H&S)
to join our team. This is a varied role that mixes customer service with general admin work to help keep our Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) systems running smoothly.
You'll be helping customers day to day, keeping paperwork and spreadsheets up to date, and supporting the wider team with routine checks and record-keeping.
Duties, Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Be the first point of contact for customers by phone and email.
Provide helpful, polite, and efficient support, making sure any issues are sorted quickly.
Process orders and customer paperwork accurately.
Keep customer information and product details up to date.
Work closely with the sales and operations teams to help things run smoothly.
Keep QHSE records, forms, and spreadsheets up to date.
Maintain training logs and induction records.
Support with follow-up actions or simple checks as directed.
Skills and Experience
Our ideal candidate for this role would meet the following specification:
Previous Customer Service or Administrative experience.
Be an excellent problem-solver.
Confidence in complaint handling and resolution.
Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
A positive attitude and good communication skills.
High standards of verbal and written communication.
Excellent time management and the ability to self motivate and manage your own workload effectively.
Excellent team-work and collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
GCSE (A to C) or equivalent in English & Mathematics (Essential)
NVQ or BTEC in Business administration (Desirable)
Experience preferred, but full training will be provided through internal mentoring for the right candidate.
