We are seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service adviser / workshop controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with day to day tasks to keep the workshop running, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth communication between customers and the company, general management of workshop staff, ordering and returning parts. The role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and a passion for providing outstanding service in a dynamic environment. Knowledge or experience of working with/around vehicles or in a similar environment desirable.
Duties
Respond promptly and courteously to customer enquiries via phone, and email.
Manage customer accounts using Microsoft Office.
Carrying out quotations and invoicing.
Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately through data entry and administrative procedures.
Maintain organised records of customer interactions and transactions for future reference.
Assist with scheduling appointments and follow-up communications to ensure customer satisfaction.
Support the team with general administrative tasks such as filing, document preparation, and correspondence.
Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and professional communication at all times.
Management of workshop staff
Qualifications
Previous office experience or administrative experience is preferred.
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets), and data entry systems.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally.
