We are looking for a Customer Service and Administration Representative to join our team on an 18-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative or customer service experience to gain valuable exposure within the insurance sector.
Job Overview:
The successful candidate will support the business with administrative tasks and provide high-quality service to our established client base. You'll handle client queries efficiently and professionally, ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line telephone support to clients
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable insurance products or services
Prioritise and manage new enquiries within strict service level agreements
Handle policy renewals and mid-term adjustments
Carry out post-completion administrative duties
Process payments and manage invoicing
Work collaboratively with the team to maintain high service standards
Skills & Experience Required:
Previous experience in customer service or administration (insurance experience preferred but not essential)
Clear and professional telephone manner
Ability to understand and explain policy details confidently
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
GCSEs in English and Maths (essential)
A calm, flexible, and team-oriented approach under pressure
