As a Customer Service and Sales Advisor, you will play a vital role in our success.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Surpassing key departmental targets in sales and customer service. Mastering a deep understanding of Smythson's exceptional product range, services, and policies. Skilfully identifying customer needs to maximize sales opportunities and deliver unparalleled customer satisfaction. Ensuring prompt and accurate processing of sales orders, emails, calls, letters, webchats, repairs, exchanges and returns with unwavering attention to detail. Providing exceptional spoken and written communication, reflecting Smythson's dedication to excellence. Including outbound calling.
We are seeking candidates who possess the following experience, skills, and attributes.

Experience:

A minimum of 6 months in a customer service and/or sales environment is essential, inbound and outbound calling. Proven contact centre experience with a professional and friendly telephone manner. Strong administrative background. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, and Outlook.

Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to build rapport and create lasting relationships with customers. A proactive and reliable approach that instils confidence. Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure. Full flexibility to commit to a 5-day working pattern over a 7-day week.

Our current rota includes:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5.30 PM Saturday: 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM (Working on Saturday earns you a lieu day off that week.) Extended hours until 8:00 PM may be implemented during peak trading periods. Potential coverage on Sundays and bank holidays, with overtime pay available.
