Customer Service Apprentice- Parts Department

We are looking for talented Customer Service Apprentices to join our Parts department, starting in September 2023. If you are ambitious, enthusiastic and eager to learn, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Reporting to one of our Parts Managers/Supervisors/Team leaders, you will be responsible for applying the learning from your Customer Service apprenticeship to provide he highest quality service to our customers, whether this is face-to-face, via telephone or digitally. You will identify customer needs and build rapport, work on the front desk, process payments and order parts direct from our manufacturers. This will be done whilst ensuring customer expectations are met while developing, implementing, and maintaining administrative services.

This is a varied role where you will have the opportunity to work with the sales, service, workshop and warehouse teams, giving you a well-rounded understanding of the Parts Advisor role and it\xe2\x80\x99s impact on the business.

The Opportunity:

In this role you will:

  • Complete the Customer Service Level 2 apprenticeship (15 months) and apply the knowledge, skills, and experience to the workplace with the support of the manager, team, and training provider as well as the Group\xe2\x80\x99s internal Academy;
  • Be eager to learn and to share knowledge with others, using available resources and own initiative to grow an understanding of developments across the automotive industry;
  • Be the first point of contact for our customers when working on the front desk, identifying their needs and building good rapport.
  • Learn and understand manufacturer platforms and order parts direct, chasing orders and reporting back to our customers.
  • Work alongside the workshop team to ensure customer vehicles are repaired on time, promoting a positive attitude to create a cohesive team.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills, whether face-to-face, on the telephone, in writing or on digital platforms. Using the most appropriate channels to communicate effectively while demonstrating agility and confidence.

About You:

GCSE Mathematics and English is desirable but ultimately, this role will be a great fit for anyone that has a keen eye for detail and a passion for providing 100% customer satisfaction.
