Job Description

The NFU Mutual North & Borders agency is based across two sites - Hereford and Kington. It is one of the leading NFU Mutual branches in the country and we are currently recruiting for the role of Customer Service Insurance Adviser.

We looking to further enhance our thriving, friendly, supportive & professional team. In this role you will provide outstanding customer service whilst ensuring you adhere to our compliance and regulatory requirements.

Providing exceptional customer service, you will handle policy and claims enquiries, provide insurance quotations selling the benefits of NFU Mutual policies and undertake insurance transactions and general sales tasks with a 'can-do' proactive attitude. You will also maximise inbound and outbound sales opportunities, cross selling general insurance and Financial Services products to existing clients and assisting with renewal retention by using your excellent telephone manner to make the most of every call.

Duties & Responsibilities:



Customer facing over the phone dealing with insurance queries, changes and setting up new policies. Use your initiative to find the best possible solution for the customer, playing a key role in the success of the business by handling sales, identifying new opportunities and ensuring our customers are always happy. Proactively establish customer needs to help find solutions from our product range including financial services

What we're looking for:



You enjoy having conversations with people, listening and building relationships Excellent written and verbal skills along with a great telephone manner and a team working ethic Good level of IT skills is essential Grades A-C or 9-7 in GCSE Maths and English Someone who is prompt, reliable and trustworthy Be organised and able to work to deadlines as required, manage your own workload and prioritise accordingly
