About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated and personable
Customer Service Representative (CSR)
to be the frontline voice of Shrub. You will play a vital role in maintaining strong relationships with chefs and shop keepers, ensuring their needs are met with warmth, efficiency, and a deep understanding of our produce and purpose.
As a CSR, you will work closely with the whole team to support orders, resolve issues, and keep our community of chefs informed and inspired. This is an ideal role for someone with excellent communication skills, a calm and proactive mindset, and a genuine interest in sustainable food systems.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Communication
: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and WhatsApp in a timely and professional manner.
Order Support
: Provide guidance on daily availability, assist with order changes, and troubleshoot delivery issues.
Relationship Management
: Develop rapport with chefs and buyers to understand their kitchens and needs over time.
Internal Coordination
: Collaborate with the whole team to ensure seamless service and information flow.
Product Knowledge
: Stay up to date with weekly availability, farm updates, and product launches.
About You
1-2 years' experience
in a customer service or client-facing role.
Experience in food or hospitality
is a plus - ideally with an understanding of kitchens, restaurants, or seasonal produce.
You're empathetic, reliable, and an excellent communicator - both written and verbal.
Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving instincts.
Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable with CRM tools or customer databases.
Excited to contribute to a growing, values-driven business.
