The Role

NFU Mutual's Lancaster agency is recruiting for a Customer Sales & Service Advisor.

This is can be an ideal entry level role to the insurance industry or one for someone with a minimum of 2 years plus experience.

Regardless of what level of experience you have It is an exciting opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding business. The right candidate will play a key role within our fantastic team.

As a Customer Sales & Service Advisor within our friendly and driven team, you will play a key role in the success of an expanding local business, ensuring that we continue to offer our award-winning products in the professional and friendly way for which we are renowned.

On a day to day basis you will be dealing with existing policy changes, sales and general enquiries and support the managing partners, all with a 'can-do' and proactive attitude with plenty of enthusiasm and support from the team. In return, you can expect full training in a sociable and supportive environment.

Job Specification

The successful applicant will be expected to undertake a wide variety of tasks including the following:
Fielding the inbound calls for new business and policy updates.

Prospecting and developing new business lead. Outbound general insurance & cross selling to our loyal existing client base Identify and execute cross sell leads for Financial Services and Risk Management Services Support and aide development of marketing campaigns to increase lead generation Maintain own technical knowledge and skills Develop productive business relationships with key stakeholders.

Person Specification

Confident, self-motivated & dynamic personality

Strong relationship building and prospecting skills - Ability to meet deadlines and take responsibility for a sales target - Organised, prompt & trustworthy Sales experience would be ideal but not essential Attention to detail is essential in this regulated industry Experience in a regulated industry desirable but not essential

Qualifications

Maths & English GCSE Grade 4 or above (or equivalent)

Further educational qualifications desirable but not essential

Benefits

Salary will be dependent upon experience - Starting Salary of 23,000 would be in respect of a complete new starter to insurance on an apprentice scheme.

25 days holiday plus bank holidays - this increases by 1 day per year of service up to 27 days.

Pension contribution 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday 9am-5pm 2 extra days holiday upon completion of 5 years service
