Due to continued growth, Lloyd & Jones now have a Customer Service position within our Walsall branch (Formerly Jackdaw Tools).

Lloyd & Jones are a major player in the industrial supplies market, with a 40M+ turnover and over 20 sites throughout England and Wales. Supplying to a wide spectrum of businesses.

This is a varied role, working with a flexible team, in a busy branch.

This would be an ideal role for an individual in industrial distribution looking to make their next step.

An organised personality you will work in a busy branch office taking orders and resolving customer enquiries by telephone and email. You will also be computer literate to complete office-based duties.

An individual that is driven to assist the whole branch in this varied role, to help hit monthly sales targets, and continue to grow. This role will include tasks that are needed to maximise efficiency in the daily operations of the branch.

The successful applicant must be able to work within a small team, with the flexibility to offer support to all aspects of a busy and growing sales organisation.

The candidate will require the qualities below;

Team player Proactive attitude dealing with customer requests. Flexible working attitude Prioritising tasks with an organised approach Customer and target driven Computer literate - Training will be given on our ERP package. Keen to learn product knowledge Ideally experience of selling Industrial Supply products - PPE, Janitorial, Fasteners, Power Tools, Cutting Tools, Abrasives, Hand Tools etc
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 5pm (60min lunch) and Friday 08:00am - 16:30pm (30min lunch)

Responsibilities



Assist customers via phone and provide exceptional service while maintaining a professional demeanor. Utilize strong communication skills to address inquiries and resolve issues efficiently. Perform data entry tasks accurately to update customer records. Demonstrate computer literacy by navigating various software and tools. Analyze customer feedback to improve service quality and enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively with team members to achieve service goals.
