About You:

To succeed in this role, you must be able to perform essential duties effectively and have a strong attention to detail. The qualifications listed below reflect the skills and knowledge needed. You should be comfortable with technology and have a basic understanding of computers and prototypes.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in conducting user testing, including setting up and breaking down equipment, reviewing data, managing participant intake and outtake, and documenting participant experiences.

- Provide a positive and smooth experience for study participants, guiding them through the necessary prompts for data collection.

- Help maintain the lab and ensure equipment is in good working order.

- Support the recruitment of participants to meet the demographic needs of the study.

- Offer day-to-day support to the User Research team with any necessary tasks.

- You will work on-site directly with the Project Manager. Your schedule will be pre-arranged, and no vacation will be permitted during the project's duration. Your primary focus will be on punctuality, meeting participant quotas, and ensuring participants feel welcome and comfortable during their sessions.

Education / Experience:

- Research experience

- High School diploma or College degree in a related field (e.g., research development, psychology, human-computer interaction, human factors, communications, market research, anthropology, or a similar area).

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) to help participants feel at ease.

- Good organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.

- An adaptable, quick learner who can handle a variety of tasks.

- Ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced study environment.

Mandatory DBS and Credit Check Requirements:

- You must have no unspent criminal convictions.

- You must have no adverse credit history or County Court Judgments (CCJs).

Working Hours:

- You will work 5 days out of 7, Monday to Friday, with a set schedule during the project.
