About the role:



Depot Operations Support - InPost Distribution Lincoln depot.




Are you ready to be at the heart of a fast-paced, dynamic parcel operation? Join InPost Distribution as a Depot Operations Support team member and play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth daily parcel activities, exceptional customer care, and seamless administration in our bustling Lincoln depot!

Location:

Sadler Road, Lincoln LN6 3RS

Shift Pattern:

Monday - Friday (35hrs)

Hours:

10:00am - 5:30pm


Salary:

12.51 per hour


What you'll be doing:



Responsible for all administrative requirements relating to transport Liaise with internal and external customers, suppliers and drivers Ensure the timely dispatch of outbound vehicles and track them on their journeys Monitor the arrival of inbound vehicles and liaise with the warehouse team Identify and monitor issues trends Contribute ideas which will improve our ability to provide exceptional customer service Support the planning of routes Ensure that the operation remains legally compliant through monitoring drivers' hours and downloading tachographs Respond swiftly to breakdowns and vehicle defect reports Dealing with issues such as quarantined titles etc. Ad-hoc administration duties

What we need from you:



Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail A general understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations Experience of producing reports and statistics in a timely manner Experience of working in a customer focused, time sensitive environment with daily fluctuating workloads Able to react quickly to information, helping solve any challenges to routes Good computer skill -essential and experience using in-house transport management systems is an advantage
