We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated (Entry Level / Junior) Customer Service Representative to join our family-run education software business. This role is ideal for individuals who have excellent customer service skills, enjoy solving problems and get satisfaction from helping people.
As a point of contact for our customers who need help with our education software, you will play a 'front-of-house' role within our business, along with a small team others, ensuring customers' needs are met, with a smile and courtesy, while representing our brand with professionalism and care.
Duties
Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, email, and support tickets in a timely and professional manner. Inquiries will be from school office staff who typically need help setting up / delivering parent bookings.
Assist customers with questions about our product, helping solving their problems and troubleshooting issues.
Maintain a ticketing system by accurately updating tasks which have been completed.
Demonstrate effective phone and email etiquette while communicating with customers.
Collaborate with team members to resolve customer issues and improve service overall.
Requirements
Essential: Strong English-language written and spoken communication skills.
Confidence using computers and software such as Outlook, spreadsheets, documents (e.g. Word) and smartphone apps
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyse customer problems and provide appropriate solutions.
Previous experience in any type of customer service role (catering, supermarket, airport, bar, club, venue, marketing - any public-facing roles) would be advantageous.
