This Customer Support Manager position is a very exciting opportunity to join a global technology business and manage the day-to-day operations of the Customer Support Team. Reporting to the Customer Operations Director, the Customer Support Manager will be responsible for building fantastic relationships with customers and other teams around the business whilst also supporting the sales team.

The role is based in near Aylesbury and is a full-time position working from 9 to 5-30pm Monday-Thursday with an early finish on a Friday at 4:30pm. The salary on offer for this role is \xc2\xa330,000-\xc2\xa335,000 + an annual discretionary bonus. What will I be doing in the Customer Support Manager role?

  • Building strong relationships with various departments and stakeholders across the business and working collaboratively to meet standards.
  • Maintaining and developing customer on-boarding processes and working with the Sales Directors and Customer Operations Director to develop and maintain key accounts.
  • Management of the Sales Order book to ensure fulfilment requirements are met.
  • Ensure orders are processed accurately and that progress of orders is communicated to the customer.
  • Work with Production and Supply Chain Managers to plan order delivery.
  • Attend customer meetings and provide fantastic service.
  • Support the team with enquiries regarding orders.
  • Provide quotations to the customer for any logistics activity.
  • Determine, deliver and measure KPIs in line with the business plan.
  • Day-to-day management of the Customer Support team including escalating complaints, allocating workloads, defining responsibilities, ensuring personal development of team member and employee wellbeing.
  • Understand, log and resolve customer complaints in a positive, timely and effective manner.
  • Create, review, and provide individual work instructions and process flows for each department with the internal system.
  • Identify areas for improvement and solutions for issues including areas for cost reduction and accuracy.
  • Represent the Customer Support Team at Management team meetings and provide monthly management reports for review.
What skills do I need for the Customer Support Manager role?
  • 2 years management experience of an internal sales team or customer service based team.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong decision maker who can push back at Senior level when needed.
  • Understanding of MS Office and CRM systems
  • Great communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to implement decisions with a proactive and supportive approach.
