About the Opportunity
Our survival and growth depend on how delighted our community is, which is made up of Volunteers and Tech Startup Customers. It is impossible to achieve success without a strong support team. Your role is to provide support for prospective and existing Volunteers and Customers through Tawk Chat service, direct messaging and occassionally through WhatsApp and other Social Media channels.
We are looking for Support Volunteers to provide 24/7 global overage. Support Volunteers help visitors to sign up for our service, improve their profiles and answer any questions regarding SkilledUp Life.
Our needs
Fluent in English - both written and spoken.
Some level of experience in customer service and/or support.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent record keeping.
Self-learner and ability to execute tasks without any supervision.
Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism.
Pay attention to detail.
Activities:
Working with our CEO and the Head of Support, your Volunteer role includes:
Keep the Community Members (Volunteers and Companies) healthy and live by regularly chatting with them.
Convert visitors to Community members by helping them to create accounts.
Help build their profiles fully.
Use direct messaging in addition to Tawk Chat.
Help Companies publish Opportunities.
Help Advanced Plan customers find the best fit Volunteers.
Help Volunteers apply for Opportunities.
Improve FAQs.
Report any issues, concerns and complaints to the Head of Support and CEO.
Tools used:
Google Workspace.
Tawk Chat.
Slack for internal communications and daily reporting.
SkilledUp Life direct messaging.
You have significant freedom to evolve within your role. You are welcome to challenge the existing systems and processes and continually improve them.
Acquired Skills
Process: Get a deeper understanding of the customer support process. Learn how to keep a Community live.
Problem Solving: Learn how to respond to Community and prospects on all requests regarding SkilledUp Life.
Tools: Learn how to use customer support software tools effectively, i.e. Tawk Chat.
Team: Communication at different organisational levels. Build a relationship with a global remote team.
