Apprentice Customer Service advisor

to support our service and retail departments.

This apprenticeship is perfect for someone at the start of their career, ready to gain hands on experience in customer service, administration, and parts support within a friendly and supportive team.

About the Role



As an Apprentice Customer Service & Parts Assistant, you'll gain valuable skills and experience across several areas of our service and parts operations. Training will be provided throughout your apprenticeship, with opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues and develop a strong understanding of our industry.

Your training and day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



Customer Service



Greeting customers and being the first point of contact when they arrive at the service desk Assisting with customer drop-offs, collections, and general enquiries Handling calls and emails professionally, referring customers to the right team member Providing proactive updates to customers on the progress of their vehicles or parts orders

Service & Workshop Support



Making service bookings and learning how to manage the workshop diary Supporting the team with administrative tasks and documentation Assisting with work-in-progress checks and ensuring information is accurately recorded Learning how repairs are quality-checked and demonstrated to customers

Parts Department Support



Helping with ordering, receiving, returning, and organising parts Learning how to register new vehicles for warranty Supporting colleagues in submitting and chasing warranty claims Understanding stock processes and helping to return unused or faulty parts for credit Part of the role will also include working in a retail environment promoting products and services

Skills & Qualities We're Looking For



(Full training will be provided -- we just ask for the right attitude!)

A genuine desire to learn and build a career in customer service and after-sales support Great communication skills and the ability to work well with both customers and colleagues Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges Confidence with using computers and learning new systems An interest in caravans, motorhomes, vehicles or hands on technical work is a real bonus Excellent Maths/English skills

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: From 7.55 per hour
