We're recruiting for a Customer Underwriting Team Manager to join us. We're offering a competitive base salary.

What you'll be doing:

Leading and coaching a team of underwriters to deliver consistent, high-quality decisions Creating a culture of engagement, development and accountability Contributing to planning and forecasting to ensure efficient work allocation Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Communicating clearly and confidently across a range of topics Encouraging constructive challenge to improve customer journeys and team efficiency Using performance data and observations to set expectations and track progress Ensuring service levels meet customer expectations and business commitments


Qualifications



Who we're looking for:

Demonstrating exceptional leadership and motivational skills Understanding HR policies, insurance principles and business strategy Communicating effectively and confidently with diverse audiences Making accurate and confident decisions within authorised autonomy Analysing and interpreting management information and risk data Solving problems and making sound decisions under pressure Organising time and workflow to deliver expected outcomes Holding a CII diploma or equivalent experience (desirable)
