At Asap Cargo we specialise in freight logistics and have offices in the UK and Ireland working with industrial, retail and corporate clients nationwide delivering bespoke international freight management solutions.

Our service is built on global experience and hands-on execution, from collection, storage, delivery, warehousing and onward distribution. We are looking for a experienced customs administrator for our team based in Larne.

In house training will be provided however the ideal candidate should have previous experience working within a customs team;

Duties will include;

Preparation of required documents and information for UK and ROI Customs authorities. Input of data into customs systems to include Irish Revenue AIS/AES, Chief, CDS & TSS (Trader Support Service) Meeting our customers requirements for safe and efficient transport of their goods according to operating procedures and statutory requirements. Tracking trailer movements and keeping our operations team and customers updated.
Understandably, your communication skills both written and verbal need to be second- to- none.

We will also be looking for an applicant that can demonstrate a talent for solving problems, effective multi-tasker, attention to detail and an ability to to work in a fast paced dynamic environment where customer service is key.

High level IT skills are essential to this position and we do prefer candidates to have had experience in a similar role and a flexible, adaptable approach to their work.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Occasional Sunday (usually 1 in 5), Friday will be your 2nd day off that week so you can enjoy a longer weekend the following week! 42.5 hours a week Shift rotation between hours of 6am to 8pm.
