Bleckmann Customs team are looking for a Customs Administrator based within our Lutterworth cluster.


This is a permanent role Monday - Friday, with a salary of 28,000 - 30,000 working 37.5 hours a week.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable

Customs Administrator

to support our brokerage and compliance teams in managing customs processes and administrative duties. This role is key to ensuring seamless international trade operations and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities




Manage customs administration for both inbound and outbound storage

Perform technical and commercial customs-related administrative tasks

Liaise with clients and carriers to resolve missing or incomplete documentation/information

Maintain and update the customs broker database

Management preference document control

Complete and submit TSS declarations

Maintain and update client records

Complete client billing and approve supplier invoices

Support the global customs compliance team with audits

Manage Duty Deferment Account

Key Competencies & Skills




Operational Expertise:




Experience within customs min 1 year

Strong knowledge of UK import/export procedures and customs principles

Familiarity with document codes and preference documentation

Administrative & Technical Skills:




Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

Experienced in archiving, document control, and accurate billing practices

Problem Solving:




Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive and analytical mindset

Customer Service:




Professional communication with clients and carriers to resolve issues effectively
