Job Description

Employment type: Full Time - Monday - Friday (Possible future weekend work).



Hours per week: 40 hours per week / 8am-5pm - with flexibility depending on loading schedules.

Working closely with our fantastic supply base, we provide this service to over 1,000 customers throughout Europe, every day of the year.



We are looking to add to our Import and Export team in Evesham managing declarations, duty relief and document control. The 'Customs Declaration Officer' duties and responsibilities are very specific, requiring exceptionally strong attention to detail skills and accuracy.

Job Role



Ability to follow

detailed

standard operating procedures of declarations made to HMRC, DEFRA-APHA, DEFRA-HMI and DEARA-PHSI Requesting and collating documentation, checking content and

validating information

. Concise professional communication, externally and internally. Ensuring all information receipt and

data entry

is completed within stringent timeframes. Repetitive data entry input per consignment. Maintain

detailed documentation

for inspections, traceability, and regulatory compliance. Verification of costs and billing accuracy, recording, and logging information. Collaboration with all departments,

resolving issues and providing guidance

in all elements of

import/export documentation

requirements. Support

internal/external audits

and uphold legal requirements and best practice standards.
