Transglobal Express is an international parcel company. We are now seeking an experienced customs specialist to support and develop our air and road freight operation, including import and export clearance, shed transfers, HAWB, MAWB and BIRDS

This role requires a highly skilled professional who can provide expert guidance. You will need a strong understanding of industry regulations, and the ability to ensure efficient and compliant freight movement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end airfreight processes, coordinating with airlines and customs authorities, ensuring seamless cargo handling, and overseeing MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) management related to freight agreements and compliance.

Responsibilities:



Create and manage House Air Waybills (HAWB) and Master Air Waybills (MAWB) accurately and efficiently Manage customs entries for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures. Liaise with airlines, freight carriers, and customs authorities to facilitate smooth cargo movement. Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise during transit. Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of courier and freight shipments in the warehouse. Supervise shed transfers and airfreight handling to minimize delays and enhance operational efficiency. Ensure accurate inventory management and maintain proper documentation for all incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintain compliance with ETSF/Bonded Warehouse regulations (if applicable). Manage MOU agreements related to customs clearance, freight handling, and service-level expectations with logistics partners. Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and any other enquiries. Assist in resolving customer complaints or concerns related to freight and courier services.

Essential Skills



Proven experience in airfreight logistics, import/export clearance, and freight coordination. Working knowledge of customs procedures, including temporary storage (bonded and ETSF), Authorised Consignee/Consignor, NCTS, and BIRDS. Strong proficiency in ASM Sequoia software and customs processes. Expertise in AWB production, shed transfers, and bonded warehouse operations. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage high-pressure situations and ensure smooth airfreight movement. Experience in MOU management, including drafting, reviewing, and ensuring compliance with agreements.
