we are looking for talented Cut and Crease Operators to join our innovative global Company and who can hit the ground running and become part of our team.

12 hour shifts x 3 each week, rotating days and nights each week.

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will me able to make ready and run a Bobst Cut and Crease Die-cutter machine and its associated ancillary equipment to their optimum efficiency.

Key Objectives

To provide a continual and effective service within the department. To maximize efficiencies and quality whilst minimizing waste. To follow all quality systems and procedures within the department. To maintain good housekeeping around the machine, whilst working to specific maintenance schedules and work practices. To work effectively and efficiently as part of a cohesive team.

Working Practices

Ensure compliance with all existing systems, standards and procedures within the specific work area to satisfy both company and customer requirements - including ISO quality, hygiene, health & safety and environmental standards. Organise the workplace to achieve high standards of housekeeping and report any defects, hazards and/or issues to the relevant people immediately.

Production

Continuously develop skills and working practices in line with world class manufacturing standards. Maintain effective service levels to the Cut and Crease machine to enable continuous running. Undertake routine maintenance, mechanical adjustments and minor repairs to maintain the production cycle, identifying more serious matter to management so planned maintenance can be arranged

Skills

Able to operate a BOBST cut and crease machine (required) BPIF Qualification (desirable but not required) Computer literate Ability to work under strict deadlines and targets Excellent communication skills essential Ability to understand clear written and verbal instructions. Self-motivated Good understanding of procedures and processes. Highly responsible, reliable and flexible with a strong work ethic Quality and safety conscious Punctual, presentable and with good attendance
