Machine Operator / Machine Minder (Cut and Crease)

Overview:

Hardman Grey Recruitment are currently seeking a Machine Operator/Minder (Cut and Crease) on behalf of our client. The Machine Operator will be responsible for the setting and operating of Cut and Crease machinery, including Heidelberg Cylinder and Platen machines, within a packaging manufacturing environment.

The Machine Operator / Machine Minder will be responsible for:

Setting up and running Heidelberg and other die-cutting machinery Producing and checking products against quality specifications Maintaining machinery and keeping the work area clean Ensuring jobs are completed accurately and within deadlines Reporting maintenance issues as necessary Verifying production quantity versus required output Inspecting finished work to meet specification standards Meeting production targets and completing necessary paperwork

The ideal Machine Operator candidate will have:

Experience with embossing, debossing, and braille is advantageous, though training can be provided for the right candidate. Ideally, have prior experience operating printing machinery or Cut and Crease equipment, including Heidelberg Cylinder and Platen machines. A collaborative approach and ability to work within a production team Familiarity with high-end, added-value packaging A conscientious, enthusiastic, and can-do attitude Willingness to work shift patterns
