As our Cyber Risk & Assurance Support, you'll play a vital role in protecting Cadent's digital infrastructure.



Working within our Cyber Risk and Assurance team, you'll support the identification, assessment, and management of cyber risks across the organisation. This isn't just about ticking compliance boxes, it's about helping build a resilient, secure environment that protects our people, systems, and data.



You'll assist in monitoring security controls, supporting risk assessments, and preparing documentation for audits. You'll also help track and mitigate cyber risks, ensuring we stay ahead of emerging threats. This is a hands-on role that offers exposure to a wide range of cyber risk and assurance activities.

Cyber Risk Insight - Help assess and manage risks that could impact Cadent's IT systems. Policy & Framework Support - Contribute to the development and maintenance of cyber risk policies and procedures. Threat Awareness - Stay informed on emerging threats and support mitigation planning. Audit Preparation - Assist in preparing documentation and evidence for internal and external audits. Stakeholder Engagement - Work closely with internal teams and external assurance partners.

What you'll bring:

You're someone with a keen interest in cyber security and a desire to grow in a risk and assurance environment.

Foundational Knowledge - Basic understanding of IT or Cyber Risk certifications such as Security+, CySA+. IT Experience - Previous experience in IT support or professional services roles. Communication Skills - Able to clearly communicate risks and findings to stakeholders. Learning Mindset - Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment. Regulatory Awareness - Familiarity with regulations such as NIST and RIIO is desirable.
