Role Overview:



The CyberSecurity Manager will be a critical leader within our technology and security organization, responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise-wide vision, strategy, and program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected. This role demands deep technical expertise across various cybersecurity domains, a passion for designing resilient security architectures, proactive threat mitigation, and a strategic mindset. You will play a key role in defining the cybersecurity posture, ensuring our platforms and data are safeguarded against evolving threats, and fostering a strong security culture across the development's diverse digital landscape. You will work closely with IT infrastructure teams, software engineering, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver outstanding cybersecurity resilience.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive enterprise cybersecurity strategy, framework, policies, standards, and procedures. Lead the design, engineering, and implementation of robust security solutions across networks, systems, applications, and cloud environments. Oversee and manage security operations, including threat intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring (SIEM). Conduct regular security risk assessments, penetration testing, and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. Define and enforce cybersecurity architecture standards, best practices, and governance policies across the organization. Collaborate with IT, development, and business teams to integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and operational processes. Architect and manage security solutions for data protection (at rest, in transit, in use), identity and access management (IAM), and endpoint security. Ensure cybersecurity solutions are optimized for effectiveness, performance, and alignment with business objectives and regulatory obligations. Provide expert guidance and technical leadership on cybersecurity matters to engineering teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for security architectures, configurations, incident response plans, and recovery procedures. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cybersecurity threats, technologies, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies. Lead cybersecurity awareness and training programs to foster a security-conscious culture among employees. Manage and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering their growth and development. Oversee the investigation and resolution of security incidents, conducting post-mortem analyses and implementing corrective actions.

Role Competencies & Activities:



Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:



Effectively collaborate with business leaders, IT directors, legal counsel, and engineering teams to understand security needs and integrate security into all business processes. Work closely with compliance and audit teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST frameworks) and industry best practices. Liaise with external security vendors, managed security service providers (MSSPs), and law enforcement agencies as required. Clearly communicate complex cybersecurity concepts, risks, and incident details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership. Lead cybersecurity steering committees and working groups to drive security initiatives.

Technical Excellence & System Design:



Demonstrate mastery in designing and implementing security solutions across diverse environments, including on-premises, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and hybrid infrastructures. Proven experience with security technologies such as firewalls (NGFW, WAF), IDS/IPS, EDR, DLP, IAM solutions, PKI, encryption, and vulnerability scanning tools. Strong understanding of network security protocols, secure software development practices, and cloud security architecture. Expertise in security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001/2, CIS Controls, OWASP). Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems, security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platforms. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for security automation and analysis. Solid understanding of threat modeling, risk assessment methodologies, and incident response procedures. Ability to design and implement security solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity from a security perspective. Experience with security aspects of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.

Leadership & Communication:



Provide technical leadership, strategic direction, and mentorship for all cybersecurity initiatives and personnel. Lead security architecture reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure solutions are robust and align with best practices. Clearly articulate the cybersecurity vision, strategy, risk posture, and technical roadmaps to diverse audiences. Proactively identify and champion opportunities to enhance the organization's security posture and resilience. Contribute to the development of security policies, standards, incident response playbooks, and awareness materials.

Experience & Qualifications:



Skills & Experience:



A At least 4 years of experience in Cybersecurity programs or teams. Proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and managing security operations in complex organizations. Expert-level knowledge of multiple cybersecurity domains, including network security, application security, cloud security, data security, incident response, and risk management. Extensive experience with a wide range of security technologies, tools, and frameworks. Hands-on experience with security incident management, forensic investigation, and crisis communication. Strong experience with regulatory compliance and security audits. Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and integrating security into agile development processes. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills. Experience working with and managing MSSPs and third-party security vendors.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field. Professional cybersecurity certifications are highly essential (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, GIAC certifications like GSEC, GCIA, GCIH). Certifications in cloud security (e.g., CCSP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate) are a significant plus.
