Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Grinder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for precision grinding operations to ensure the quality and integrity of components. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, safety standards, and the ability to work accurately within tight tolerances. Duties

Operate grinding equipment to rough & finish metal components according to drawing specifications Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring adherence to dimensional tolerances and surface finish standards Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times Read technical drawings and basic mathematical measurements to determine grinding requirements Collaborate with team members supporting overall production goals

Qualifications

Proven experience in, cylindrical and surface grinding, or related mechanical roles Proficiency with inspection, tooling, and basic math skills for precise measurements Mechanical knowledge including familiarity with industrial equipment and safety procedures Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately Strong attention to detail with organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Prior experience working within a Tool and Cutter environment is advantageous but not essential

Pay: 14.47-16.12 per hour
