Responsibilities
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children
Support children's emotional well-being through attentive care and positive interactions
Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and needs
Maintain a clean and organized learning space in compliance with health and safety standards
Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play
Observe and document children's developmental milestones and behaviors
Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development sessions
Qualifications
Prior experience working with young children or in early childhood education is preferred but if the candidate doesn't hold a relevant qualification, the willing to work towards will be required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families
Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards young learners
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to childcare settings is advantageous
A genuine passion for supporting early childhood development and education
