Are you an experienced paediatric Occupational Therapist who is passionate about children with complex needs?

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a band 7 O ccupational Therapist to join our team based at St Marks Hospital in Maidenhead.



You will have the opportunity to work as part of an experienced team of therapists in a mix of community setting s, early years settings, homes and schools having independence and autonomy to manage your own caseload.



In your role you will be expected to deliver a high standard of occupational therapy care to children and young people with developmental and complex needs , therefor e for this role we are looking for someone with a real passion for seeing young children reach their potential .



As part of an integrated therapy team, you will have the opportunity to share and learn from Speech and Language Therapists and Physiotherapists working alongside you. We value the development of our staff and offer training opportunit ies as led by service/local population needs.



Our core working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:00 but we can offer flexibility around this. The role will involve some travel to clinic/educational settings but also leaves room for some remote/ home working. Permanent part -time position available, full -time options considered.



Provide high quality assessment and interventions for children and young people with developmental / complex needs



Function as a specialist autonomous clinician, supporting delivery of the CYPIT model and provid ing support to more junior staff



Contribute to defined projects and service development initiatives as requested



Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records and provide written therapy plans and reports including contribution to the EHCP Assessment process and tribunals as required



Use the Care Aims care planning approach, impact-based clinical decision making, and associated outcome measures



Provide specialist clinical care including assessment, diagnosis and interventions, for a paediatric caseload

The "must haves" for this role:



Be a qualified Occupational T herapist, with RCOT and HCPC registrations



Have experience in assessing and treating 0- 18 year olds with developmental and complex needs presentations



Hold a full UK driving license, with access to using a vehicle for work purposes
