Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various technical skills essential for the role. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, robotic milking and feeding equipment, ensuring that all components function efficiently and effectively. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of independent problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Interpret plans to ensure installation is carried out in a safe and efficient manner Order materials and keep track of stock levels. Communicate with other parties to ensure projects are ready. Install equipment to a high standard and follow manufacturers specification. Fabricate bespoke containment systems. Ensure all data and electrical connections are installed and tested correctly.

Experience

Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within a mechanical or engineering environment. Electrical knowledge and understanding Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 37,340.00-55,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
