Engineer - Nairn

Here at Graham's the Family Dairy, we produce an award-winning home-grown range of the highest quality food and drink. Our current range includes Graham's Gold, Graham's organic, milk, cheese, cream, butter, spreadable butter, ice-cream in a variety of flavours, cottage cheese, quark, sour cream, yogurt, Protein 25, Skyr, Kefir and Goodness ice-cream; which is all made using the finest Scottish ingredients from over 100 specially selected farming partners who follow Graham's key values of farming, family, heritage, quality, provenance and taste.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engineer to join our existing team at our site in Nairn. You will be entrusted with a high degree of independence and have a genuine opportunity to make a meaningful impact towards our ever-growing business. This is a full-time permanent position 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday with out of hours on call 1 week in 3.

React to equipment breakdowns taking a lead in fault identification and resolution.

Routine maintenance.

Assisting with installation of new lines and equipment.

Play a key role in developing processes and equipment to maximise both quality and productivity.

Liaison between production and engineering departments to ensure availability of machines and agreeing priorities.

Play a key role in identifying deficiencies in the current machines and proposing solutions to address these.

Engineering qualification Degree or equivalent (HNC, HND).

City & Guilds 18th Edition.

An understanding of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems

Able to work under time pressure without compromising health & safety regulations/procedures.

Logical thought process and problem-solving ability.

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of team.
