We're now expanding our technical team and looking for a forward-thinking Dairy Robotics Technician who is passionate about agricultural innovation and on-farm automation.


Your Role


As a Dairy Robotics Technician at DairyFlow, you'll play a key role in installing, supporting, and optimising GEA's industry-leading robotic milking and feeding technologies. You'll work directly with farmers to ensure our solutions deliver top performance, animal welfare, and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

Install, commission, and service GEA robotic milking systems (e.g., DairyRobot R9500) and all associated robotic barn equipment Provide technical support and diagnostics for electromechanical and software issues on-farm Train farm personnel on daily operation, maintenance, and data analysis tools Optimise system settings based on herd behaviour, performance data, and customer goals Collaborate with DairyFlow and GEA teams to ensure product feedback, upgrades, and continuous improvement Maintain detailed records and adhere to health and safety protocols Participate in on-call rota for emergency breakdown support (shared within team)
Your profile and qualifications:


What We're Looking For

Experience with dairy automation Strong skills in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and software systems Knowledge of dairy farm operations and animal welfare best practices Strong communication and customer service mindset Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when needed A team player with a solution-focused attitude Full UK driving licence (or equivalent)
