New Damp & Mould Labourer Opportunity for 6 months in Leicestershire! Due to continued successful growth, We have an excellent opportunity to join our Fortem team working on a 6 month contract with Amplius Housing repairs as a Labourer on the Damp and Mould work stream. You will cover Decorating and general maintenance and repairs covering a patch stretching from Leicestershire postcodes LE6,7, LE14,15,16) with travel to the office based in Rushden as required This will involve carrying out repairs and maintenance to Social Housing properties, ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of supervision. The D&M Labourer takes ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs, operating within the company Health and Safety guidelines, and remaining within budget and time parameters
The Customer
Fortem's successful contract with Amplius supports nearly 8,000 houses, and we're expecting that to increase significantly in 2025. Our contract includes Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Complex Works and FRA workstreams with Planned Works and Preventative Maintenance as well.
Duties and Responsibilities
The D&M Labourer Duties will include: o Completing responsive repairs and maintenance as per the specification, working in a timely and productive manner. o Advising Supervisor in a timely manner when other trades are required o Working in partnership with other operatives to complete projects. o Recording and submitting accurate data using relevant business systems electronic devices o Affording excellent customer service to client representatives o Comply with safeguarding policy and H&S standards at all times o Operating within the company's occupational road risk policies and procedures
What you will need
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria: Essential criteria: Labouring experience / General Maintenance and Decorating experience Understanding of Damp and Mould conditions Full UK driving licence Must be able to pass basic DBS checks Desirable: Social housing experience
