Damp, Timber and Mould Surveyor (Full or Part Time)
Biocraft South East ltd is a leading specialist contractor providing dampness control and home ventilation services throughout Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
Biocraft provides a wide range of property services to both the public and private sector. We mainly deal with domestic properties with some commercial and industrial buildings. Due to continued growth of the business, we have a vacancy for a remedial surveyor in a full time or part time role.
The applicant must have experience in the damp and mould sector together with excellent surveying and report writing skills. They must be able to work as part of a team and have good communication skills.
Responsibilities /Day to Day tasks will be included.
Remedial Dampness, Timber & mould surveying of all types of residential properties for social housing, commercial and private clients. Reporting of the results of these surveys and specification and costing of any required remedial works.
Writing reports is carried out using Biocraft templates and works specifications. New report writing software with AI analysis is currently being introduced.
Communication with clients regarding survey results and finding
Communication with Biocraft site staff regarding questions or finding once works have begun to provide advice and information in depth
Coordination and collaboration with admin, sales and operational teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Attending client and business meetings on site, remotely or at client premises
Requirements
+3 years relevant experience
Possess a deep understanding of building construction and defect identification in modern and traditional buildings.
Property Care Association (PCA) surveying qualification (CSRT, CSDB or CSTDB) or other surveying qualifications
Self motivated, professional and enthusiastic about their work
Ability to write professional reports that are grammatically correct and technically accurate
Ability to organise your own schedule, manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Full UK driving licence
